Vintage Photography

Old Souls
Old School.

One of the many reasons I'm so passionate about Photography is how  timeless it is. No  matter what decade you're in, no matter what kind of equipment, low-end or high-end lenses, everyone in their own unique way can see something that holds so much beauty and depict a piece of their life and a sense of who they are. Usually, it's the most simplistic things that just scream for the camera's attention in such a way that  makes the image or moment captured look so peaceful. Whether you agree less is more, or more is more in that sense, whatever you believe to be of beauty, you want to capture it, and remember it whether for a second, a year, or a lifetime, knowing you can look back on it and remember, "Ah yes, that was an amazing day".

Today I found this old Canon  SURE SHOT  TELE. 40/70 mm 1: 2.8/ 4.9 at an antique store.  I find the older the  object, the more beauty it holds. Call me an old soul, Grandma Rose, or Awesome! Don't get me wrong, camera's and our technology have exceeded so many expectations technologically speaking, however, I just find the look of Old camera's and anything really back in the day had so much more detail  and uniqueness in the way they were produced or represented. Maybe that's just the Timeless part of it all that makes you look back and admire the simplicity of camera's when our society is so media tech obsessed. I'm a lover of all generations, and probably wouldn't trade this Camera for my Canon DSLR , but then again, I wouldn't trade my DSLR to  "National Geographic"..
Okay so maybe I would, but for a long time,  it's been and still is my baby!
